Functional description:
The machine has individual power drives for stacking, suction, transport, punching and carton production.
The pre-cut parts are stacked horizontally on a pallet. A vacuum-lifting pad takes the top piece and lays it on the conveyor belt. The tongs lifts this up and places it directly under the creasing stamp of the folding tool.
The pre-cut parts of the cartons are glued in transit. The application of hot-melt or dispersion glue is controlled either mechanically, electrically or electronically.
During transport, codes and printed material, equipment for application of tear strips, labelling equipment and lots of other additional equipment can be installed.
Combinations and Add-on Equipment:
The SIKA II is built to facilitate easy and flexible combinations with the most diverse add-on equipment.
Primarily this includes printed material of all sorts, for example stamping reels, ink guns, silk screen printing, tampon print and labelling devices for wet bonding or adhesive labelling.
Also coding stations for visible or invisible codes as well as equipment for the application of tear strips.
A particularly interesting add on piece of equipment is the sealing station for shrink-wrap.
The sealed shrink-wrap in the cartons allows for reliable, clean and cost-efficient placement of the goods in the boxes.
Pre-stacking equipment for the pre-cut parts, as well as stacking equipment for stacking the finished boxes within each other after processing can increase the productivity and ease of use of the SIKA II.
